Indian Creek Braves Varsity Struggles To Find Groove Against Cloverdale

Thursday was a long day for Indian Creek Braves Varsity, falling to Cloverdale 15-5.

Indian Creek Braves Varsity put up three runs in the sixth inning. Indian Creek Braves Varsity big bats were led by Michaela Denney and Emily Tudor, who each had RBIs in the inning.

Cloverdale scored six runs in the sixth inning. Cloverdale’s big inning was driven by a single by Garretson, a home run by Smith, and by Johnson.
Couch earned the victory in the pitcher’s circle for Cloverdale. She lasted six innings, allowing 11 hits and five runs while striking out six.

Delaney Heminger took the loss for Indian Creek Braves Varsity. She surrendered five runs on five hits over three innings, striking out one.

Cloverdale socked two home runs on the day.

Cloverdale racked up 13 hits. Lowe, Goss, Garretson, and Couch each collected multiple hits for Cloverdale. Lowe went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Cloverdale in hits.
