Indian Creek Braves Varsity Nabs Win Over Greenwood Despite Early 4-Run Inning

Indian Creek Braves Varsity weathered a push by Greenwood in the first inning where Indian Creek Braves Varsity coughed up four runs, but Indian Creek Braves Varsity still won 12-7 on Monday. Hayes, Hankenoff, and Whobrey all drove in runs in the frame.

Both offenses were strong at the plate as Indian Creek Braves Varsity collected 14 hits and Greenwood 11 in the high-scoring affair

Greenwood captured the lead in the first inning. Hankenoff drove in one when she singled.
Indian Creek Braves Varsity took the lead for good with four runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Delaney Heminger doubled on a 2-0 count, scoring one run, Haley Mathena grounded out, scoring one run, and Jozie Farris singled on a 2-1 count, scoring two runs.
