Girls finish 1st as a team

The Lady Braves were the CHAMPS of the Golden Bear classic this weekend!

Phoebe Dowty led the way as she finished third in a very solid effort, as always. She continues to stay discipline in her training, and her humble attitude plays a huge role in our team’s success.

Luci Woodrum finished 9th, Paige Iaria finished 12th, Paxton Marshall in 15th, and Amanda Ulerick finished in 16th to round out the scoring five for the Lady Braves.

Woodrum continues to impress and she ran an incredible race finishing just seconds away from a lifetime personal record. She continues to set the tone for our 2-7 group of girls through her competitive spirit and determination to be at her best each week.

Iaria, Marshall, and Ulerick ran so well, as they ended up finding each other right at the end of the race and nearly finished simultaneously as they worked to out-kick the competition in the finish shoot. Having these incredible girls run as a pack makes all the difference for our success as a team from a scoring perspective.

Kiley Breeden placed 20th & Hannah Seitzinger placed 29th to wrap things up for the Lady Braves. They continue to inch closer to the other pack of girls and continue to realize just how important they are and will be to the eventual success of this team.

Amazing day for this group, becoming champions!

Back in action this Saturday, October 3rd at Franklin High School for the County Meet.
