Indian Creek High School 3rd 196

The Indian Creek girls middle school golf team participated in the Johnson County Tournament at Tameka Woods Saturday Morning. The team finished 3rd which was the best finish Coach Emenhiser has ever had in his three year coaching tenure. Center Grove North took the title shooting a 167. Center Grove Central fired a 178 for second place honors, Indian Creek shot a 196, Franklin 197, Whiteland 212, and Greenwood 242.

Individually, The Braves were led by 8th grader Hannah Emenhiser who overall finished tied for 1st with Center Grove North’s Sage Parsetch. They both shot a four over 39. Hannah ended her day with five pars and a birdie. Hannah has earned the honor of being on the all county team for three consecutive years. Gracee Meredith, who has been solid all season, shot a 49. She was only two shots away from earning her second consecutive all county team honor. Gracee is only a 7th grader. She will be looking to take the crown next year. Others scoring for the Braves, were Ciara Green and Alianna Short with 54’s. Tarra Turnmire fired a 56, and Christole Baugh shot a 69. The 5-1 Braves will be back in action this Thursday for their last home match against Decatur Central.
