Congratulations to the boys and girls cross country teams for finishing off their season with a strong Western Indiana Conference meet at South Putnam on Saturday.

The girls all ran a fierce race on the technical course, earning a 3rd place finish overall out of the 11 conference teams. Phoebe Dowty lead the way for the girls, working her way across the finish line and earning her ribbon in 3rd place overall with a time of 12:56, only 2 seconds away from the 2nd place finisher. Ella Taylor dug deep for her 19th place finish in 14:13. Close behind were Libby Dowty in 20th at 14:19 and Lilly Swanson in 22nd at 14:23. Honorable mention goes out to Libby Dowty, Aliana Perry, and Caylee Fleener, who managed a season best time on this difficult course.

Thank you to all the families, friends, and fans that came to support our teams this year! Coach McCracken and Coach Hiatt have really enjoyed seeing all the runners improve over the course of the season – not just with their times, but with their effort, endurance, and attitudes. Way to put in the work, runners!
