The Lady Braves started off the season strong against the Waldron Mohawks, winning 2-0 with set scores of 25-9 and 25-11. The Braves were led by freshman Katie Heminger, who led the team in kills and aces. Setters Addy Tunell and Grayson Burkett were the cornerstones of the team, combining for 12 assists, four aces, and seven digs. Indian Creek looks to carry this momentum into the Martinsville and Tri-West games later this week.
