In the most exciting, edge-of-your-seat match of the season, the Lady Braves walked away victorious against Sullivan 2-1, with set scores of 25-24, 22-25, and 18-16. After being down 19-24 in the first-to-25 first set, Kylie Lemmon served her way for the comeback victory. After falling in the second set, the team never gave up and fought hard for the nail-biting win in the third set. Libero Olivia Pendleton had four aces and 17 digs. Katie Heminger stepped up her leadership on the court and had an all-around solid day, with two kills, four aces, and five digs. Setter Grayson Burkett found the hot hand of Gracee Meredith, who had nine kills. And Lauren McClanahan came up big in the middle, tallying four blocks. The Lady Braves are off to a strong start of the season and are 7-1 thus far.
