The Indian Creek Braves won in the opening round of the IHSAA State Tournament Friday night by the score of 51-12 against Indianapolis Attucks. The Braves were fast out the gate getting up 22-0 in the first quarter and continued on through the night. The Defense accounted for 18 or 51 points on 3 Defensive Touchdowns. Bryce Smith had a 25 yard Interception return, Reid Crowell had an 84 fumble recovery and Vinny Greene had a 15 yard fumble recovery. Those accounted for 3 out of the 4 turnovers for Attucks. Isaiah Lacey accounted for all 4 Offensive Touchdowns Friday, 2 rushing and 2 passing.
