Indian Creek easily did away with Owen Valley 12-5 on Tuesday
Indian Creek got things moving in the first inning, when Trevor Ankney singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
After Owen Valley scored one run in the top of the sixth, Indian Creek answered with one of their own. Owen Valley scored when Yeager singled on a 0-2 count, scoring one run. Indian Creek then answered when Clay Key singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.
Indian Creek pulled away for good with six runs in the third inning. In the third an error scored two runs for Indian Creek, Key drew a walk, scoring one run, Devyn Parr singled on a 1-2 count, scoring two runs, and Hodge’s wild pitch allowed one run to score for Indian Creek.
Zach Scott was the winning pitcher for Indian Creek. He lasted five innings, allowing four hits and two runs while striking out eight. Xavier Ferris threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.
Dustin Sprong led Indian Creek with two hits in four at bats.
