Braves defeated Cloverdale 14-0 on Thursday as four pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Devyn Parr struck out Watts to finish off the game.
Braves got on the board in the first inning. Trevor Ankney drove in two when he doubled.
Braves put up seven runs in the third inning. Braves put the pressure on, lead by singles by Parr, Xavier Ferris, and Mason Britt, by Wyatt Phillips, and a double by Dustin Sprong.
Ferris took the win for Braves. He allowed one hit and zero runs over two innings, striking out five and walking zero. Parr, Zach Scott, and Colby Marker all put in work in relief out of the bullpen, steering their team towards the victory.
Braves saw the ball well today, racking up 11 hits in the game. Parr, Phillips, and Britt each managed multiple hits for Braves. Britt, Phillips, and Parr all had two hits to lead Braves. Braves didn’t commit a single error in the field. Cody Grider had the most chances in the field with ten.
