An early lead helped Indian Creek defeat Charlestown 8-5 on Saturday. Indian Creek scored on a walk by Trevor Ankney, a walk by Colby Marker, a walk by Wyatt Rund, a walk by Mason Britt, and a walk by Devyn Parr in the second inning.
Charlestown scored three runs in the third inning, but Indian Creek still managed to pull out the victory. Charlestown big bats were led by Fifer and Wigginton, who all drove in runs.
Mitchell Walls led the Indian Creek to victory on the mound. He surrendered four runs on four hits over three innings, striking out one. Xavier Ferris threw four innings in relief out of the bullpen.
Indian Creek tallied eight hits on the day. Dustin Sprong and Wyatt Phillips all collected multiple hits for Indian Creek. Phillips and Sprong each collected three hits to lead Indian Creek.
