Congratulations to the boys and girls cross country teams for finishing off their season with a strong Western Indiana Conference meet at South Putnam on Saturday.

Despite their strong individual efforts, the boys placed 9th overall as a team. Aaron Spurgeon lead the way yet again, earning the only ribbon for the IC boys by placing 15th overall in 12:31. Jacob Carter finished strong in 20th place, with a time of 12:35. In 3rd for the IC boys was EJ Woodke, who ran a smart and consistent race, placing 26th overall in 12:54. Honorable mention goes out to Noah Greenwood, Jack Rominger, and Owen Stout who managed a season best time on this difficult course.

Thank you to all the families, friends, and fans that came to support our teams this year! Coach McCracken and Coach Hiatt have really enjoyed seeing all the runners improve over the course of the season – not just with their times, but with their effort, endurance, and attitudes. Way to put in the work, runners!
