Indian Creek’s Senior Night win over Greenwood was set in motion by Alec Burress’s first-quarter interception on the Woodmen’s opening play. The turnover set up the Braves’ first touchdown and helped establish momentum in a 29-10 victory at The Creek. Quarterback Evan Clark threw for 116 yards and three touchdowns, connecting with Hunter Worley, Paxton Walters, and Jaxon Ramey, who also scored on a 45-yard punt return. Drew Pingleton added 82 rushing yards on 26 carries. Indian Creek’s defense and special teams were fantastic as well. A Greenwood punt mishap resulted in a safety, giving the Braves a 9-0 lead. Greenwood responded with a blocked punt return for a touchdown and a 27-yard field goal to briefly take a 10-9 lead before halftime. The Braves regained control before the half with a touchdown, and buried the Woodmen with two more touchdowns in the second half, pulling away for the win. The victory moved Indian Creek to 2-0.
