Indian Creek dominated from start to finish in a 49–13 win over Scottsburg to capture the IHSAA Class 3A Sectional 31 championship — the program’s first sectional title since 2011 and fourth overall. The Braves jumped out quickly, scoring on their first six-play drive before quarterback Evan Clark threw a 78-yard touchdown to Jaxon Ramey and Hunter Worley added a 51-yard reverse run. A Scottsburg fumbled punt set up another score before halftime, giving Indian Creek a commanding 28–0 lead. Clark continued his stellar play in the second half, throwing three more touchdown passes — two to Worley and one to Ramey — and finishing with 254 passing yards, five touchdowns, and 75 rushing yards. Ramey totaled 126 receiving yards, while Worley added 86. Indian Creek’s defense stifled Scottsburg’s normally potent offense, holding the Warriors to just 33 rushing yards while forcing two interceptions and recording three sacks. The Braves also played a clean game with no penalties. Scottsburg ended its season at 9–3. With the win, Indian Creek (8–3) advances to the regional round against Gibson Southern, adding the 2025 sectional trophy to previous titles from 2002, 2010, and 2011.
