Game Recap

The Indian Creek Braves Varsity jumped out to an early lead on North Decatur and captured an 18-2 victory on Thursday. Thirteen runs in the first three innings allowed them to put the game away early.

A three-run double by Sydney Williams, an RBI single by Kaylee Satter, an RBI double by Rachel Kyle, an RBI single by Kasey Wilhoit, and a steal of home by Zoey Gatton during the first inning and an RBI single by Brittney Dugan, an RBI double by Williams, a bases loaded walk, and a two-run single by Dori Knight in the second inning supplied the early offense for the Braves.
Williams went 3 for 3 at the plate and had four RBIs. Dori Knight and Brittney Dugan both went 3 for 4 and Michaela Smith went 2 for 3.

Knight struck out 10 hitters en route to the win and allowed no earned runs on three hits and no walks over five innings.

The Braves are now 4-1 overall, 2-0 in conference.
They travel to Morristown Friday.
