Boys Middle School Tennis, Boys Varsity Tennis · IC’s “Big 3”

Over the summer, the Miami Heat won their second consecutive NBA Championship thanks to their “Big 3”. Now here we are in the fall, and all eyes have shifted to Indian Creek’s Boys Tennis Team and their “Big 3”: seniors Michael Mendenhall, Brett DeHart, and Jared Modugno. No, these three will not be competing against the Heat or in the NBA, but instead hope to be crowned MHC Champions once again this year, as well as make a deep run into the IHSAA State Tournament. The “Big 3” have gotten off to a hot start, as they have guided their team to a 7-0 record overall, 6-0 in conference. For most of the matches, Mendenhall has been the man at #1 Singles, while DeHart and Modugno have played #2 and #3 singles, respectively.  Indian Creek Boys Tennis is back in action this week, when they begin the Johnson County Tournament at Center Grove. The next home match for the boys is Thursday, September 19th as they play host to Shelbyville at 4:30 PM.
