This week’s Athlete of the Week is: Jessica Knight
Jessica Knight is a senior volleyball player, and the daughter of Ricky and Debbie Knight. She is a 3-sport athlete at Indian Creek, participating in Volleyball, Basketball and Softball. She has earned 7 Varsity letters in those 3 sports and looks to add another 3 this year as she enters her final year as a student-athlete wearing Indian Creek. This season, Knight, brings a different approach to the game, as she is looked upon for leadership. Playing in her fourth and final year of Volleyball, Knight looks to help guide the team to a winning season, after last year’s young and rebuilding team. Knight really enjoys the game for its quick pace and long rallies, something that gets her excited to put on that uniform night in and night out. Knight and the rest of the Lady Braves are back in action again this week, and several times throughout the month of September, so be sure to come out and support senior Jessica Knight and the Indian Creek Lady Braves.
