Your Lady Braves are Sectional Champions! 4 years in a row! Friday night your Lady Braves traveled to Owen Valley for a Semi-final pairing with conference foe Northview. The Lady Knights came out strong looking to avenge their defeat just one week earlier going into halftime leading 24-17. Your Lady Braves regrouped and began to chip away at Northview's lead, ending the quarter ahead by 3. Ball control and perfect free throw shooting down the stretch allowed the Lady Braves to hold on to a 40-31 victory and a berth in the sectional championship Saturday night. Edgewood came out with upset on their minds playing with great energy on both ends of the floor. Your Lady Braves stayed the course holding a 10-9 lead after the 1st quarter. Your Lady Braves continued to stretch their lead over the next 3 quarters enroute to a 52-35 victory and the Sectional Championship.
